St. Milton

In this illustration, I wanted to highlight the fact that Milton Glaser is seen as one of the of the most celebrated designers in the United States and his impact on society has been so great.

In aiming to highlight this, I took the concept of making him into a saint-like figure of the graphic design industry. In order to do this, I used the “aureola” usually found in images of saints from Christian art. In addition to this, I wanted to incorporate visual motifs that hint at work created by Mister Glaser.
